Introduction:
Located at Halchowk, Swayambhu, Tiger Karts, is the first go-kart racing course of Nepal. Accelerated by the fun and the thrill, it offers the riding enthusiasts a long awaited opportunity to feel the impulse of speed and a sensation of go karting with the fastest cornering vehicle in Nepal, at its 300meters long and 6.5meters wide track..
 
Enjoy your day out or celebrate your birthday or simply get together with friends rushing your adrenaline with the thrill of riding 166cc kart running at a speed of 50-55 kph (Kilometers per hour). However, as you are only two inches off the ground it feels a lot faster. And to fasten the cornering speed, we have used slick tyres and a high content of tar on the course. Remember, the sensation of handling a go kart is the same as a formula one car but at much reduced speed.
 
Track:
The track is 300meters long and 6.5meters wide with strategic and fun-filled curves or corners.
 
Karts:
All karts are “Made in Nepal”, thus, we are proud to introduce Tiger Karts as “Pride of Nepal”. We strongly believe that Tiger Karts has glorified Nepal’s sports history by manufacturing the racing karts for the first time in this beautiful Himalayan Kingdom. We have altogether 10 karts each 5feet long 2.5feet wide with only one seat for the driver. Each kart is 166cc powered by 5.5hp (horsepower) Honda water pump engine running at a speed of 55km per hour. However, as you are only two inches off the ground it feels a lot faster also the slick tyres add much to the speeding of these karts. All you need to do to ride this go kart is start the engine handle the steering push accelerator to gain speed and apply brakes when needed and to stop the kart. The sensation of handling a go kart is the same as a formula one car but at much reduced speed.
 
Ride System:
We have two riding system mentioned as “Standard Ride System” based on minute system as follows:
5minutes ride
10minutes ride and
15minutes ride
The other is “Hourly Track Hire System” where no other person except the buyer and his party will be allowed in the track for the hired period.

Operation:
Tiger Karts is open from 10:30AM to sunset everyday.
